Haarlemmer Oil Paint Impasto Medium consists of oil and an extender pigment (aluminum hydroxide). Extender pigments are white inorganic minerals that become essentially transparent when added to oil paint. Impasto Medium is ideal for thickening oil paint. One of the benefits of using Impasto Medium is that it dries evenly without cracking. It is also very suitable as a glazing medium.
